I was trying my hand at making netted tubes and ended up with three cool “spires”. The colours are my old favourite, Chartres Cathedral blues and reds.
Once the “spires” were done, I liked the look of them clustered together so much, I joined them with a gold peyote band at the top.
Then I beaded a “chain” to hold them. In my mind I was thinking of a 1920’s pendant necklace with a longish, geometric style look. I used the same blues and reds. This necklace would have to go with specific garments – the colour and shape make it a statement piece rather than an accessory. Nothing wrong with that!
